Memo to Newsletter Staff

For the headlines of the next issue of the company newsletter,

please use a font that is bold and clean; I want the headlines

to stand out. Also, please justify the columns only on the left;

leave the right side of the columns ragged.

   A cover letter should be mailed with the newsletter to everyone

in the company at his or her home. Can we insert each name and

address from the employee list into a standard letter? Do we have

the capability to perform this merge?

WHAT DO YOU KNOW?

Read the preceding memo. Using context clues, determine the meaning of each italicized word. Then, from the following list, select the word that best fits each definition and write the word in the blank space provided. Check the definition to verify your answer.
