Know Your Listeners 15 Whether you realize it or not, each of us is a salesperson as we stand up in front of a group and make a presentation. We must present our information or deliver our explanations in a way that will make them credible and believable to the audience. We must present our persuasive arguments so convincingly that the audience will take action on them. As good speakers, we're in the business of making a significant impact on our listeners.
