Chapter 8. Organizing Your Story

You have defined your purpose in telling your story and you have analyzed your audience. For your chosen story idea, you have determined the hero and developed the conflict and resolution. You can now start preparing your story. One easy way to get organized is to make a list of all the story’s “happenings.” For example:

First you learned you were being transferred into another department.

Then you learned that that department does most of its work standing up.
