Non-verbal Cues

A non-verbal cue, or body language, is a message sent by such things as a speaker’s gestures, facial expressions, eyes, and posture. Good listeners interpret a speaker’s non-verbal feedback through five channels: ears, eyes, heart, mind, and intuition. Non-verbal cues, along with tone of voice, confirm or deny the message of the words. More than half of most human interaction is through non-verbal communication.
