The automated attendant

This is affectionately labeled “the Groaner,” (because most people just groan when they hear the lethargic “Thank you for calling XYZ Company. If you know your party’s extension, please press it now, blah, blah, blah.”) Instead of a friendly personal greeting, you hear a robotic delivery from a machine.

Since the automated attendant isn’t universally appreciated by the public, you can reduce the number of groans by doing three things:
