Chapter 46. Screening Calls

Screening, at best, is intimidating for the caller; at worst, screening is humiliating. There are three types of screens: a single, a double, and a triple. Here are examples:

1. Single Screen: “Who’s calling?”
2. Double Screen: "Who’s calling, and what company are you with?”
3. Triple Screen: “Who’s calling? What company are you with? What’s this in reference to?” (The person screening might as well be wearing a helmet and holding a rifle. It sounds like he or she is interrogating a prisoner!)
