Tip 32 How to Comment On Each Other’s Writing

Showing your work to another person, or reviewing somebody else’s work, can be an uncomfortable experience. An honest critique can be difficult to give or receive, especially since “critique” sounds like “criticism,” a word that can connote negative feedback. A better word for a review process is “commentary,” and a few commentary guidelines can make the process smooth and productive.
