Chapter 18. Giving Positive Feedback

Providing positive feedback is the act of affirming, accepting, or approving of someone’s behavior or actions. Positive feedback can result in improved relationships, and the person receiving the positive feedback will have a greater likelihood of repreating the behavior praised.

It seems that giving positive feedback would probably be easy and would be done frequently. Both giver and receiver would feel great, right? You might think so. However, this is seldom the case. Positive feedback is not given nearly as much as it should be.
