Chapter 6. Summary > Developing Confidence

Developing Confidence

As you have progressed through this book, you have been developing confidence. Each time you tried one of the practices, your experience and expertise grew a little bit. As they grew, so did your competence. Possessing both confidence and competence empowers you to accomplish new deeds. And, with each accomplishment, your confidence grows and the cycle continues.

You can boost your confidence further by identifying someone within the organization who thinks exceptionally well on his feet. Learn from that person and seek to have him or her become your mentor, if possible. Obtain feedback from others who are sincerely interested in your well-being.
