Speeches

In one sense, prepared speeches are easier because you have had time to prepare. Unfortunately, you have also had time to get nervous about delivering them. By contrast, when you are unexpectedly called upon to “say a few words,” or to deliver some “off-the-cuff” remarks, you don’t have time to get nervous.

Here is a technique that will inject confidence into your veins and force the ice water out. We call it the F-A-S-T technique. Next time you are asked to speak extemporaneously, don’t panic. Just think “FAST.”
