Customer Service

Thinking well on your feet can help you convert a dissatisfied customer into a satisfied one. The rule to remember is an easy one: without your customer you would not have a job. Put yourself in the customer’s shoes and try to imagine what the customer is thinking and what has led him or her to those thoughts.

Looking at every customer interaction from the customer’s perspective will help you find the words to assure that customer you really are concerned about her needs, her expectations. You cannot help but evince sincerity if you think customer thoughts as you think on your feet. Keep your customer in the forefront of your brain. Treat her as you would wish to be treated. Serve the customer with pleasantness, offering suggestions and assurances that she deserves. She is, after all, why your company is in business.
