Many people think “persuasion” only means making an UNFRIENDLY audience into a SUPPORTIVE one, but in reality this is rare. It’s often unrealistic to expect dramatic change from an audience, especially if you don’t have much time to work with them. Frequently, you will have the chance to make only limited change with an audience; don’t miss the chance by having the wrong expectations.
