COMMUNICATION MYTH #9: Facts are facts.


For many managers it is a “fact” that they represent the interests of their organization better than union officials who, in turn, find the superiority of their own outlook to be a matter of “fact,” too. Be very wary of the word “facts”—it often means values, attitudes, or beliefs that we don’t question, but that other people might!
