Responding to a subordinate's constructive feedback

Regardless of how well you manage, there will be times when your subordinates will have constructive feedback for you. Should you receive constructive feedback from a subordinate, stay calm and listen to everything that she has to say. Paraphrase the message to show that you have listened and understood your subordinate's concern. Ask your subordinate if she has suggestions to resolve the issue. Indicate your willingness to work with the subordinate to a mutually satisfying solution, and follow through on that intention.
