Explanation

An indefinite pronoun does not refer to a specific place, person, or thing. Indefinite pronouns such as “everybody,” something,” and “nothing,” can cause confusion when trying to create pronoun and verb agreement. The majority of indefinite pronouns are singular in meaning, even though they are frequently mistaken for plurals.
