Chapter 18. Subject and verb agreement

Explanation

The subject-verb agreementrule says that the verb (predicate) in a sentence must agree with the intended number of the noun (subject). If the noun is singular, the verb must also be singular, and if the noun is plural, the verb must also be plural.
