Chapter 55. The Long Bottom Line

Organizations that encourage and train their people in the skills of mentoring may reap their rewards as long as those people are employed there. Organizations often benefit from their investment in mentoring for years, even decades, because of what has passed from mentor to mentee and back again.

Since real mentoring enhances mentee performance, avoids failures or mistakes, and encourages fresh ideas, the financial benefits to the employer can continue well into the future.
