Chapter 49. Overcoming Inertia in the Organization

The law of inertia says a body in motion tends to remain in motion and that a body at rest tends to remain at rest. When most or all of an organization is stuck in the past and not changing and adapting with the marketplace, inertia can endanger everyone’s job. In traditional organizations people tend to avoid change because the organization avoids change.
