Your Communication Style

It is vital that you speak up clearly and concisely in your new job. It is also important that any forms, notes, or memos be written in your best penmanship, printed, or typed. People need to hear and understand what you mean. If your English is weak (perhaps a new second language), seek assistance.

The manner or style in which you communicate may be different from your normal style and from the way you will communicate later. Why is this? In most cases your approach will be conservative because you feel this style will help you win the acceptance of coworkers. Later you can relax and communicate in your own way.
