Chapter 2. Types of Interviews > Exploratory Interviews

Exploratory Interviews

An exploratory interview is somewhat the opposite of a screening interview in that the applicant sets up the interview to screen that company as a potential place to work.

Many people who want to move ahead or find out about a new field or career call potential employers to ask whether someone there would be willing to meet with them on an exploratory basis.
