Open-Ended Questions

These are questions that can’t be answered with a “yes” or “no.” So, instead of asking, “Were you always on time to work?” they’ll ask, “What type of work habits are important to you?” This forces you to say more and allows the interviewer to say less. It is a basic rule of thumb for effective interviewing to avoid yes/no questions.
