Aerial Viewer

The Aerial Viewer gives the user an easy-to-use separate interface for viewing a drawing, showing the location of the current view in relation to the drawing extents. The Aerial View window is a convenient function to have on large drawings with extraordinary amounts of detail. Not only can this floating window be run transparently, but it also allows you to view the entire drawing to determine the next view location. The Aerial View is similar in functionality to the Zoom Dynamic command in that the drawing extents can be viewed while determining zoom magnification.

To activate the Aerial View command, choose the Aerial View option from the View pull-down menu. This brings up the Aerial View Window shown in Figure 11.7.
