Summary

In this chapter, you learned some of the basic principles of drawing in three dimensions. Starting with simple, basic lines and polylines, you learned the importance of using object snaps and point filters to insure accuracy in 3D space. You learned that many of the editing operations you use in 2D, such as MOVE and ROTATE, have equivalent 3D commands. Finally, you learned about a special 3D object called a region.

In the next chapter, you will learn how to create 3D surfaces by using the AutoCAD surfacing commands.
