Chapter 34. AutoCAD 2000 Migration Assis... > Understanding the Color to Named Too...

Understanding the Color to Named Tools

The Color to Named Tools feature enables you to convert a drawing and its plot style table from the color-dependent plot style format to the named plot style format.

Although the Color to Named Tools feature is listed as one of the tools of the AutoCAD 2000 Migration Assistance application, it’s actually a feature that is executed from within AutoCAD 2000. If you select the Color to Named Tools option from the AutoCAD 2000 Migration Assistance application, the application simply opens a window that instructs you to access the feature from AutoCAD 2000. Consequently, there’s no need to launch the AutoCAD 2000 Migration Assistance application to access the Color to Named Tools feature.
