Understanding the Batch Drawing Converter

The Batch Drawing Converter enables you to convert AutoCAD drawings from one release version to another. You can use it to migrate R12, R13, and R14 version files into R2000. You can convert an AutoCAD drawing from its current release version to R12, R13, R14, or R2000.

The Batch Drawing Converter is simple to use. By launching the Converter, you can compile a list of drawings that you want to convert. You can identify CFG, PCP, and PC2 files that contain pen-width information, and you can convert the pen widths to AutoCAD 2000 lineweights. You can also identify R2000 drawings that contain Page Setups, and then apply those page setups to drawings that you are converting to the R2000 format. The Batch Drawing Converter is a powerful tool that makes converting drawings from one release format to another easy.
