So far, we’ve seen that loops and groove clips are powerful tools for creating music, and that they can speed up the process of developing a song considerably. If you're a saxophonist like me, however—or a singer or a guitarist or any other kind of skilled performer—loops only get you part of the way there. Sooner or later you're going to want to put your own "voice" into your song, and that means audio recording. Never mind later, let's do it sooner—let's do it now! In this chapter you will learn to:
