Chapter 3. Analog Emulated Synthesizers > Loading and Saving Patches

Loading and Saving Patches

All of Reason’s Sound Modules allow you to select patches, or sounds, to play. You can either load a preset patch from Reason’s factory CDs or from other sources, such as third-party ReFills, or you can create, save, and reload your own patches. Loading and saving works the same in each of Reason’s devices.

Loading the SubTractor to the Rack

Later in this chapter you’ll get a close look at the SubTractor Analog Synthesizer, but first you should load it into the rack so that you understand how to load and save patches and also how to initialize devices.
