THIRD-PARTY GARAGEBAND EXPANSION OPTIONS

THIRD-PARTY GARAGEBAND EXPANSION OPTIONS

If you are willing to do a little hunting on the Internet, you will soon find that you can Google up some free Apple Loops. That's right—FREE! What's the catch? Like Apple, some of these bigger companies know once you're hooked, you'll be back for more. And like the old saying goes, “Next time it'll cost you.” At press time, there are hundreds of commercial CDs of Apple Loops available. notes

In addition to these sources of Apple Loops, we show you how to roll your own Apple Loops in Chapter 9, “Making Your Own Loops.”

We go into depth about how to use Audio Units and where to find them in Chapter 8, “Making Your Own Software and Real Instruments.”
