Chapter 6. EDITING AND MIXING YOUR MUSIC > EDITING AND ARRANGING REGIONS

EDITING AND ARRANGING REGIONS

Up till now, we've been manipulating regions in the timeline. For Software Instruments, using the timeline to manipulate regions is the way to go. This is because, for Software Instruments, the Track Editor is oriented toward the powerful note editing features we covered in the section “Editing Software Instruments Using the Track Editor” in Chapter 3, “Recording Your Own Music with Software Instruments.”
