Displaying the Loop Browser

When you first start GarageBand, the loop browser is hidden to allow more room for tracks in the timeline, but it's easy to display.

To display the loop browser

  • If the loop browser is hidden, do one of the following:

    • Click the Loop Browser button, near the bottom of the GarageBand window (Figure 4.2).

    • Press Command-L.

    The Loop Browser button glows blue, and the loop browser itself slides into view (Figure 4.3).

To hide the loop browser

  • Click the Loop Browser button or press Command-L.

    The loop browser goes back into hiding.
