Setting Input Levels

Use the controls on your audio interface to adjust the input level of your track. If you have an internal interface (such as a PCI card), you'll probably have to make the adjustment in the software that came with your interface using a control panel or dialog. If youare recording through your Mac's built-in audio-in port (or a PowerBook's internal microphone), use the Sound pane in System Preferences to set your recording level.
