Using the Gate Effect

The gate effect is a simple filter that stops sounds below a certain volume from being heard. It can be useful for blocking quiet background noises that intrude upon audio recordings such as the buzz of an amplifier or a guitar pickup.

The gate effect can be applied only to Real Instrument tracks.
