Using the Equalizer Effect

The equalizer effect (often referred to as EQ) allows you to increase or decrease the volume of different parts of the audio spectrum. To bring out a bass line, for instance, you might boost the low-frequency part of the spectrum, while to make percussion sizzle, you might boost the high frequen- cies (or treble). Alternatively, if one of your tracks has an annoying rumble or other low-frequency noise, you can cut the bass to try to diminish it.
