Selecting Audio

Before you edit an audio file, you need to select a portion of the audio file that you want to cut, copy, fade, process, reverse, or otherwise alter. If you want to make a change to an entire file or multitrack session, you can press Ctrl+A, or choose Edit > Select Entire Wave (in Edit view) or Edit > Select All Tracks (in Multitrack or CD Project view).

Once you've made your selection, you may need to fine-tune its duration.
