Exporting Video Files

When your audio is just the way you want it and is matched correctly with the video in your clip, you're ready to export it back to a video file.

To export to a video file

1.
Choose File > Export > Video.

The Export Video dialog box opens.

2.
Browse to the folder where you want to save your file.

3.
Enter a name for your file.

4.
Optionally, click the Options button to choose an audio-compression codec (Figure 12.11).

Figure 12.11. When exporting a video clip, you can choose from a variety of audio-compression codecs.

5.
Make sure the Save Extra Non-Audio Information check box is selected.

6.
Click OK.

The file is saved with its new Audition-tweaked soundtrack.

7.
Reopen the file in Premiere Pro or After Effects as desired and continue your video editing.
