Choosing an Output for an Audio Channel

By default, audio channels are routed to the master channel and then to the stereo hardware output on the soundcard that is connected to your speakers or headphones. This is a good approach, and it generally routes the audio to where it should be, but Cubase provides great flexibility for routing audio tracks to other locations.

Here are some common situations where you may want to route an audio channel to somewhere other than the master channel:
