Creating a Windows Media Mix—PC Only

Windows Media files are created in a proprietary format written by Microsoft. They are usually quite small but maintain decent audio quality. They have the file extension .wma. Usually, people create WMA files to stream them over a Windows media or Web server. There is only one drop-down menu for creating a Windows Media mix. Use the Attributes menu (Figure 18.34) to choose the network connection speed of the computer that will be downloading the file. Choosing a faster network connection speed will create a larger file with higher-quality audio.
