Opening the Drum Editor

You access the Drum editor in the same way as all of the other MIDI editors in Cubase. You can open any MIDI part in the Drum editor, regardless of how it was created. Even IDI parts created in another editor, such as the Key editor, can be opened and edited in the Drum editor if you wish.

To open a MIDI part in the Drum editor

1.
In the Project window, click the MIDI part you want to edit (Figure 6.44).

Right-click to open the contextual menu for that MIDI part, or open the MIDI menu from the Project window.

Select MIDI > Open Drum Editor (Figure 6.45).

The Drum editor opens, displaying any MIDI data already in that part.
