Lesson 2. Use LScript

What You’ll Do

In this lesson, you’ll learn how to view LScript commands in the LScript Commander and learn how to compile LScripts.

LScript is a scripting language based on the C programming language. You can use LScript to extend the functionality of Light-Wave by scripting new functions. These LScripts are text files saved with the LS extension that use specific syntax to execute commands. You can create simple LScripts using the LScript Commander dialog box available by clicking on the LScript Commander button in the LScript section of the Utilities tab, shown in Figure 13.3.
