Lesson 5. Use Environment Settings and Shaders

What You’ll Do

In this lesson, you’ll learn how to add reflective maps and use shaders.

The final two tabs in the Surface Editor are the Environment and Shaders panels. Use the Environment panel to select environment settings, such as the image that is reflected off shiny surfaces. Use the Shaders panel to select and use different shaders to create specialized rendered effects.
