Chapter 11. Enabling Dynamics > Chapter Summary

Chapter Summary

This chapter explained how to use dynamics to automatically generate animation keys. Dynamics enables objects to be defined as hard-body objects, soft-body objects, cloth objects, and particle emitters. These objects can also interact with forces such as wind and gravity. These dynamic properties are defined in the Object Properties dialog box.

What You Have Learned

  • How to create a hard-body object that reacts to gravity, forces, and collisions.

  • How objects can break into pieces upon impact.

  • How to create a soft-body object with specified jiggle vibrations and stretching.

  • How to create a cloth object with an immovable edge.

  • How to create a particle emitter using an object as an emitter.

  • How to define particle motion and interactions.
