Lesson 1. Create Hard-Body Objects

What You’ll Do

In this lesson, you’ll learn how to create dynamic hard-body objects.

A hard-body object has a hard surface that won’t give way to other objects such as a bowling ball, a rock, or a chair. To make the selected object a hard-body object, select the Hard option from the Add Dynamic drop-down list in the Dynamics panel of the Object Properties dialog box. When you select the HardFX option that is added to the Dynamics list, the dialog box expands to include several panels of settings, as shown in Figure 11.1.
