Chapter 9. Animating Objects

It’s relatively easy to animate objects in 3D with LightWave because the program stores information on the exact position, orientation, and scale of all objects in the scene at all times. Therefore, LightWave can quickly perform the simple calculation needed to interpolate between different two different states. The different states that an object passes through are called keyframes, or keys for short.
