Real-World Mapping Coordinates

In this section, you learn to analyze a map that will be used in both the color and bump slots of a floor tile material to determine how many real-world units the pattern would cover.

After you calculate the units' coverage of a single repeat of the map, you set a UVW Map modifier gizmo to that size, and the pattern will be the right size over the entire surface.
