As many Maya users already know, the Maya product was named for a concept in Hindu and Buddhist thought. Sometimes referred to as the “Mother of Creation,” sometimes seen as the material universe itself, and sometimes understood as the illusion masquerading as reality, the concept of Maya is rooted in the nature of reality itself. In these Eastern schools of thought, reality is not what it seems. The material world is itself an illusion, one that hides the fundamental unity of all things. Maya is both the world and the illusion of its reality.
