Summary

In this chapter, you learned about keyframing, both manual and automatic; the importance of pivots and how to adjust them; parenting and targeting; adding multiple cameras; and the Scene Editor. All these elements are foundations for the projects you’ll work on in LightWave, but there’s just one more area you need to be familiar with before you really get into the meat of things. Chapter 5 introduces you to the motion control you can have over every aspect of your scene with the Graph Editor. You will learn about modifiers, curves, channels, and footprints. Once you’ve worked through Chapter 6, step up to Part II, “A Project-Based Approach to Creating and Building 3D Scenes.”
