Saving Files to Default LiveMotion Settings

Whenever you're working on a new composition, it's wise to save that composition to the native file format of the program. If you're using Photoshop, for example, and want to take a coffee break, your best bet is to save to the Photoshop file format .psd.

This process allows you to keep your original work, including layers, channels, filter settings, type choices, and effects, intact. When you return to your desk, all your work has been saved. Furthermore, you can archive the original files and return to them whenever you want to make updates to the compositions.
