Getting Familiar with LiveMotion Menus

Menus are the anchor of any software program, and LiveMotion is no exception. Those of you already familiar with Adobe software such as Photoshop or Illustrator will find LiveMotion's toolbars and menus to be quite similar. Even if you've never used an Adobe application before, the basic setup of menus and toolbars within the program is basic, familiar, and intuitive.

The Main Menu Bar and Standard Toolbar

Along the top of the LiveMotion interface, you'll find the main menu bar and the standard toolbar (see Figure A.1). The main menu bar is where you'll find most everything necessary to work with the program, although, as you'll soon see, LiveMotion also offers alternatives, such as floating palettes and a toolbox, to get to the tools you need.
