Q&A

Q1:I looked at LiveMotion's HTML markup for a single linked image. I notice that it treats the single image as a map, but with one area. Is this valid code?
A1: Yes, it is valid and it will work, although as a code purist I will say that it is not the standard way of handling a single linked image. However, the trade-off made when dealing with a program such as LiveMotion is that the markup isn't always going to be perfect, or it's going to be a certain way to accommodate the limitations of the program. This shouldn't stop you from using the program. If you prefer, you can change the markup later.
Q2:I want my rollover to have only an over state and a down state active. How can I do this?
A2: Create only over and down state options in the States palette. You don't have to use every state. Delete the states you do not want to use. In fact, some of the most effective rollovers are those that are subtle rather than dramatic in the way they work.
Q3:I really like the rollover style I created. Can I save it to the Library?
A3: Naturally! Just drag and drop the animated rollover into the Styles palette.
