Q&A

Q1: Can creating a script outline impede the creative process?
A1: Yes, especially if you don't give yourself ample time to use your imagination. Writing a preparatory script is a professional approach best used after you've enjoyed time conceptualizing and innovating. Much of this can be done by experimenting in LiveMotion, and some of it will be inspired by external things: music, nature, a conversation, and so on.
Q2:I want to use a lot of high-quality audio and graphics in my presentation. Can I do so with confidence?
A2: This entirely depends on whether you are producing the piece for the Web, and even then, who your audience is. Web presentations for general audiences are limited by size. However, if you know that your audience has high-speed access or is willing to download and then play the presentation, you have more flexibility in terms of image and audio quality.
Q3:Where can I find images and audio for my presentations?
A3: There are plenty of great resources online. See Hour 2, “Importing Photos and Artwork as Objects,” and Hour 18, “Adding LiveMotion Audio,” for specific suggestions.
